How to apply?

Prospective undergraduate, graduate or postdoctoral applicants:

In order to participate in the CREATE DAV program you must have a commitment from one of the nine mentors to serve as your supervisor. So please start by contacting one or more mentors working in your area of interest.

Once you have secured a commitment, you will submit an application to the CREATE DAV program through your proposed supervisor.

Prospective graduate students:

Please note that you must be accepted to a graduate program at one of the four participating institutions in order to participate in the CREATE DAV training program. However, you can be pre-approved for DAV prior to formal admission in a graduate program.

Prospective graduate students and postdoctoral fellows:

You will submit your application to the CREATE DAV program through your proposed supervisor. The application will consist of your CV, unofficial transcripts, names and contact information for two referees, and a brief letter indicating your interest in the program and an acknowledgement that you have reviewed the requirements of the program and are committed to completing these requirements. Your application should also indicate the location of the proposed industrial internship. Normally this would be arranged in consultation with your proposed supervisor.

When is my application due?

Applications are accepted at any time. Contact your potential mentor now!
